It ended just as I was getting into the groove. I was figuring he'd find the WMDs in there, or that we'd find out the white background was a solid coating of cocaine built up over the years.

Don't get me wrong, what's here is funny, but it's so short.

The Mario soundbites and animations were used really well, and you have some twisted ideas (like the second way Mario illustrates wave motion). Really cool, and yeah, it's educational.

Only bad thing was the sampling of Lakitu's voice; it was sometimes hard to hear. Maybe turn up the volume on it?

Man, I cracked up at the monkey laughter, and the "revenge" sequence was hilarious. Nice animation, great use of sound clips, and the kinda surreal contrast between the art styles helped too.

I'm not saying I understood it, mind you, but it was hilarious anyway.

A lot of talent going in no direction. You've got the artwork down (the style isn't anime but it works well), you've got humorous use of sprites and clipart, you've got good music and you've got good sound effects.

When I was about to view this, though, I thought to myself "You know, with a title like 'Heroes on Hold' this could be really funny, with Goku trying to get through to Krillin on the phone with the fate of the world in the balance, but Kamesennin's tying up the line with phone sex or something. Just as long as it's not yet another dumb (spoiler deleted) joke." And sure enough it was.

Man, you could take like, half the footage from this, redo it, and substitute Goku actually doing something FUNNY and I'd probably give this a 5 and a much better review.

This one is like looking back in time to myself as a seven-year-old. Or, at least, how I remember myself being at seven, which probably bears no resemblance to what I was actually like. Never mind. This was just hilarious, especially the cariacture of J.Lo ... priceless.

Really funny spoof -- it IS really cheesy, but that's part of the joke.

I note, of course, that the one thing we DON'T get to see is actual WRESTLING ... which only shows how accurate the spoof is. :P

It'd have been more satisfying if he'd eliminated three attackers instead of one (the so-called "triple" of screenwriting) but man, it's good just as it is. The animation was awesome, and I loved how the two-dimensional characters LOOKED three-dimensional when the camera was panning and spinning around them. Super impressive piece of work.
